It all began at 4800m…

q2

Las Aguas Termales, Bolivia

It was while travelling in South America in 2009, that RBJ and I discovered our love for the hot waters of this world. I dug out some photos of the first  hot spring  we ever visited; Las Aguas Termales de Laguna Salada in Bolivia at 4800m above sea level,  and fell in love all over again:

Q1

Looking out over the Salar de Ayuni

A1

Happiness is…

q3

Thin air + hot hot

springs = very relaxed and slightly dazed looking RBJ and I!

A6

So that I can find my way back one day…

Las Aguas Termales de Laguna Salada scores:

COST: Included in cost of jeep tour across the Salar de Ayuni

CLEANLINESS: About as rustic as it gets

IN 3 WORDS: MAGICAL, BREATHTAKING (quite literally!), PANORAMIC
